The President of the Republic has sent an official invitation to Mohamed Bazoum to visit Tunisia
The President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kaïs Saïed spoke on Thursday with his Nigerien counterpart, Mohamed Bazoum, and sent him an official invitation to go to Tunisia.

Saïed welcomed the solidity of the ties of brotherhood that unite Tunisia and Niger and expressed his desire to consolidate and diversify them further so as to hoist the relations of cooperation, exchange, and partnership between the two countries at the highest levels, for the good and interest of the two brotherly peoples.
The Tunisian President also referred to the common challenges and issues facing the two countries, which, in his view, require more concerted efforts and greater strengthening of partnerships to achieve the legitimate aspirations of the two African peoples relating to the construction of ‘stable institutions that fight corruption and enhance stability, peace and development,’ the statement added.
For his part, Bazoum hailed the historic relations of cooperation and partnership established with Tunisia and expressed his aspiration to develop them in various fields, including economy, trade, higher education, scientific research, vocational training. and health.
And Bazoum added that Niger supports the measures and decisions taken by Kaïs Saïed, describing them as important and necessary to preserve Tunisia’s stability.
The President of Niger also welcomed the invitation sent to him to visit Tunisia and undertook to respond to it.
The meeting between the two parties focused on issues of common interest and the importance of further consolidating consultation, coordination, and exchange between the two countries in various regional and international events, the same source reads.
