1- the movement reiterates its condemnation of the unjust judgment rendered against Professor Rached Ghannouchi and Dr. Rafik Abdessalem based on the allegation that the movement received foreign funding, which is refuted by the facts and justified solely by the desire to harm the president and leader of the movement;

2- he expresses his satisfaction after the opening of the trial of the assassins of the martyr Chokri Belaid after years of obstruction, and his concern that the whole truth be revealed about this assassination, far from the lies of the so-called defense committee [of Chokri Belaïd] who continued to slander the Ennahdha movement and deceive national public opinion. The movement demands that public opinion be informed of the progress of the trial by live broadcasting of its hearings;

3- it takes note of the warning of experts in economics and finance on the dangers of the promulgation of a law allowing the Central Bank to inject approximately seven billion dinars into the public treasury to finance the budget, due to its direct repercussions on rising prices, rising inflation, the weakening of citizens’ purchasing power and the lack of investment. This funding is not intended to support development spending, create wealth or new jobs, but rather to cover the budget deficit and the government’s inability to keep its promises after the failure of its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund;

4- he welcomes the initiatives aimed at boosting the activity of the national opposition and reiterates his commitment to the National Salvation Front as a framework for national political and democratic struggle and his concern to develop a charter establishing the rules of cooperation and fair competition between the components of the opposition, to guarantee respect for the right to difference, to promote common interests and to protect political actors against negative practices, which have harmed the democratic experience and the image of the political class among public opinion.
