A memorandum of understanding was signed between Tunisia and Algeria in the field of support for startups, on the sidelines of the first edition of the Economic Forum of African Startups, organized on December 5 and 6, 2022, in Algiers, announced on Wednesday, the Ministry of Communication Technologies.
This memorandum was signed by the Minister of Communication Technologies, Nizar Ben Neji, and the Algerian Minister in charge of the knowledge economy and startups, Yacine El Mahdi Oualid. It aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in terms of support for start-ups, through the establishment of programs for the exchange of expertise, the networking of business incubators and support structures, and the support for start-ups in terms of positioning on the respective markets.
This memorandum also aims to promote the granting of the necessary benefits to young project creators to enable them to develop their investments and better position themselves locally, regionally, and internationally.
