Karen Rose , the wife of the former United States Ambassador to Algeria, once again extolled the beauty of the Algerian landscapes as well as the benevolence of these citizens. It was from Washington DC that Karen was able to answer a series of questions posed by some Algerians.
Thanks to a video published on the Tiktok platform , she expressed her feelings about the diversity of the panorama and the richness of Algerian culture. Regarding her experience in Algeria, the wife of the former ambassador spent a lot of time traveling through the 4 corners of the country.
A little moved, she expresses her love for Algeria and admits that she will always remain in her heart.
“It’s a wonderful place, with kind people. I like the people down there especially the young people. They have a good spirit”. She also wanted to compliment the beauty and diversity of the country’s landscapes :
“From the north of the country (places like Oran, Annaba, Algiers) to the south ( Tamanrasset , Batna, Ghardaïa, Tlemcen). everywhere in Algeria, there is something unique and beautiful. »
Which wilaya does she prefer the most?
As for her favorite wilaya, Karen Rose has a hard time choosing. She compares all of the wilayas to a “ bouquet of flowers ”. All the flowers are beautiful but at the same time, they are all different.
She explains that she loved the cities of Constantine and Tlemcen as well as Ghardaïa for its culture. But it is Timimoun who finally finds himself at the top of the ranking thanks to his “magnificent desert”.
She also commented on Algeria’s efforts to open up to tourists from all over the world . She thinks it’s fantastic. According to his words, Algeria has enormous potential. By visiting, you savor a unique, diversified and authentic experience .
About the Algerian culture and traditions, she admits that Algerians are very proud of these two aspects. Traditions change from region to region. The fact that there is something different in each part of Algeria caught his attention.
Finally, she explains that she misses Algeria and that she would like to come back. “In a few years I will be back inshallah. I always carry a part of Algeria with me so far. Algeria is in me”.
