For “flagrant falsification of the history of Islam”, the Superior Council of Ulema condemns and strongly rejects the content of the film “Sayidat Al Jannah” (The Lady of Paradise), and warns against its screening in Morocco.
In a press release made public on Saturday, the Superior Council of Ulemas said that it had taken note of the overall content of the film produced recently under the title “Sayidat Al Jannah” (The Lady of Paradise) and noted certain inconsistencies for which this film could not be screened. in cinemas in Morocco.
At first, the Council pointed out that “the person who wrote the film belongs to a Shiite current. He was stripped of his Kuwaiti nationality for his extremist ideas”, and that the film itself “constitutes a flagrant falsification of the facts”, contains a heinous act which can “in no way be accepted by Muslims and Muslims namely the incarnation of the Prophet.
According to the Council, the film dared to present a truncated image of Fatima Zahra, daughter of the Prophet, by telling lies and pointing out facts contrary to the spirit of religion and the reality of history. Apart from Fatima Zahra, the film “Sayidat Al Jannah” is also a series of slanders against Sidna Abou bakr. “Those behind this film seek fame and sensationalism, promotion of their production, and achievement of the greatest number of viewers, by hurting the feelings of Muslims and stirring up religious sensitivities,” it says. .
For all these considerations, the Superior Council of Ulemas strongly condemns the content of this film and emphasizes that any “falsification of the facts, which undermines Islam and Muslims, is rejected by all peoples, because it does not serve not their higher interests between nations, especially in these times.” This is why the Council invites the competent authorities to take all necessary measures in this regard.
