According to information from “Nice Matin”, the perpetrator of a terrorist attack this Thursday, October 29 in Nice was to be a young man of 21 years, of Tunisian nationality. His name is Brahim A. and would not be known to the police, according to the local daily. The man had no identity papers with him at the time of his arrest. His fingerprints could reveal more about his profile.
Paris Match also confirms this information reporting that the perpetrator would be a Tunisian man recently arrived in France.
This man attacked several people this Thursday, October 29 at a church in the French city of Nice. Three people died during this attack, the anti-terrorism prosecution was seized.
The attack that took place also left several injured, the assailant was arrested, and wounded by bullets.
This attack comes amidst an already very tense context in France following the beheading of a teacher in Paris. It also comes as the controversy swells around the positions of French President Emanuel Macron on the caricatures of the prophet Mohamed.
