A signing ceremony of a contract for the acquisition of land and construction of a new factory for the company “ Pratt & Whitney Morocco ” in the Mid Park area of Casablanca, took place in the presence of Ryad Mzzour, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Isabelle Vallois, Canadian Ambassador to Morocco.
The American manufacturer has invested around 715 million dirhams to ensure the stability of the company “Pratt & Whitney Morocco” in the Mid Park area of Casablanca, where it will produce detailed structural parts for various models of aircraft engines. The company will create 200 and 250 jobs when the plant reaches full capacity.
This industrial project considered a locomotive of the driving ecosystem will allow the establishment of an ecosystem focused on the growth and development of local suppliers and will open up broad horizons for the development of innovative, highly technological activities with a certain impact on both the both economically and socially.

The 12,075 square meter (130,000 square foot) facility will be built using lean principles and the CORE methodology to drive efficiency and quality while reducing complexity and costs. Construction of the facility will begin in the fourth quarter of 2023 and inauguration is planned for 2025.
