Figo said in a statement released by the site “La Vanguardia”, that the new position taken by Pedro Sanchez regarding Western Sahara could be linked to the attack on his phone.

The same speaker wondered if the information stolen from his phone could have weakened his position in international relations, and if this espionage has nothing to do with the change in position of historical consensus towards Algeria, the Sahara Western and Morocco.

The opposition politician believes that the Spanish government has deceived the Spanish people by removing Paz Esteban from the post of director of the National Intelligence Center.

It should be noted that the espionage operation to which Sanchez was exposed took place at the height of the diplomatic crisis between Rabat and Madrid, in the context of the reception by the latter of the Saharawi President Brahim Ghali for treatment.
