Spanish Company Opens New Shipping Line with Algeria

The Spanish maritime and passenger transport company, “Baleร ria”, has announced the launch of a new connection between the port of Alicante and the port of Oran this Saturday.

“Baleร ria”, in a statement relayed by local media, has decided to add a new weekly crossing to strengthen its three other lines connecting the port of Valencia to Mostaganem.

With this expansion, the Spanish company now offers 6,000 weekly seats on its routes between Spanish and Algerian ports, thus meeting a growing demand for maritime transport between the two countries.

This initiative aims to facilitate not only passenger transport but also trade and exchanges between Algeria and Spain. This initiative comes at a time when the National Maritime Company is unable to meet the growing demand of its customers, particularly during this summer season which is seeing an increase in travel by the national community living abroad.

The state-owned shipping company recently canceled several crossings, disrupting the entire travel schedule due to technical issues, according to press releases recently published by the company.
