Five Murcian companies belonging to the construction sector participated in a trade mission recently organized in Morocco by the Chamber of Commerce of Murcia. This initiative is part of the External Promotion Plan that the Chambers are developing jointly with the Spanish Development Institute (INFO) with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
According to La Opinion de Murcia , the delegation was made up of companies from various activities: architecture and urban planning projects, landscaping and gardening, concrete and mortar installations, manufacture of metal structures, buildings, roofs and fences, as well as electrical cables. Its members held business meetings in Casablanca and in the capital, Rabat.
โInitiatives like this allow us to expand our development opportunities and access projects of great interest in the neighboring country. The meetings we have had with the public and private sector have helped to make known new ways of expansionโ, confided Manuel Costoya, architect director of Studio MCEA, one of the professionals who took part in this mission.
The construction and public works sector in Morocco is developing favorably after the end of 2021 with good results. In addition, the Moroccan construction market is dominated by imports, mainly of European origin, while its installed capacity remains unable to meet domestic demand.
