Senegal and Algeria have each been fined after incidents in the World Cup qualifying play-offs against Egypt and Cameroon.
FIFA has sanctioned the selection of Senegal for the incidents of March 29 during the second leg of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup (1-0, 3-1 on pens) against Egypt. The Teranga Lions were sentenced to a match behind closed doors, and the Federation had a fine of €170,866 (175,000 Swiss francs).
