Samsung, through its partner Sinova Algeria, a major player in the manufacturing and marketing of household and electronic appliances, has announced its participation in the 32nd Algerian Production Fair, scheduled from December 19 to 28, 2024, at SAFEX in Algiers. Located in the Central Pavilion – Zone B on a 144 m² stand, Sinova aims to showcase its industrial expertise and expansion plans for the coming years.
Innovative Products to Meet Market Demands
Samsung and Sinova are set to unveil their flagship products, which are central to their 2025 strategy. Among the innovations, they will introduce refrigerators with combo models over 400 liters and two-door models exceeding 600 liters, catering to the growing needs of modern households.
For the washing machine segment, the brand will introduce Top Loading models with capacities of 11 kg, 13 kg, and 16 kg, alongside Combo Front Loading versions of 10 kg and above, combining performance and convenience to simplify daily life.
The air conditioner range is also being enhanced with the launch of the new premium WINDFREE series, a significant innovation expected to transform the user experience in the upcoming season.
Regarding dishwashers, Samsung and Sinova are unveiling an ambitious project for local production starting in 2025, aimed at meeting the increasing demand for these essential appliances.
Lastly, small appliances are not overlooked, with the development of new ranges including microwaves and vacuum cleaners, confirming Samsung and Sinova’s commitment to offering quality products tailored to everyday needs.
A State-of-the-Art Factory to Support Growth
Sinova’s factory in Sétif stands as a reference industrial hub in Algeria. Equipped with modern technology and advanced equipment, it boasts an impressive production capacity across various segments:
- Refrigerators: 500 units per shift
- Washing Machines: 500 units per shift
- Televisions: 800 units per shift from two efficient production lines
- Air Conditioners: 400 units per shift
This capacity, combined with a local integration rate of over 65% for refrigerators, demonstrates Samsung and Sinova’s commitment to promoting national industrialization. The factory employs highly skilled local talent, contributing to Algeria’s economic development and the creation of sustainable jobs.
Exportation: A New Dynamic Towards Africa
Sinova also aims to conquer African and Arab markets. The first shipment to Tunisia was made in 2024, marking a significant step in their export strategy. More shipments are planned for 2025 to strengthen Sinova’s presence beyond Algerian borders.
