Europe continues to make the Palestinians pay the price for the heinous crimes it committed against the Jews, and not only during the Second World War. Its alignment with the interests of the genocidal state of Israel reaches the heights of ignominy.
It is in this context, which dishonors a large part of the European political class, that the French MP of Palestinian origin Rima Hassan, newly elected to the European Parliament, under the banner of La France insoumise (LFI), is being blocked, while her group, The Left, had positioned her to become the third vice-president of the human rights subcommittee.
Pro-Israeli MPs are firmly opposed to the appointment of Rima Hassan to this position where, one imagines, she will work to defend the Palestinian cause and denounce the massacres committed by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank, at a time when several European countries, such as France and Germany, continue to arm the Hebrew state so that it can continue its war crimes in the Palestinian territories, crimes thus qualified by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
The European elected representatives are dishonoring themselves once again and undermining what remains of the credibility of the Old Continent in its supposed defense of human rights. The white Judeo-Christian man, that is. We have been constantly made to understand this, and we have finally understood it in the south of the Mediterranean.
