According to the Africa manager website, the Algerian tourist is highly regarded in Tunisia, because of his spendthrift attitude, unlike other visitors, especially Europeans. Sharing the same language, history, and traditions between Algerians and Tunisians represents an essential factor in the choice of Tunisia, which also presents a diversified tourist product that meets expectations.

The tourist area of โ€‹โ€‹Tabarka-Ain Draham records a considerable influx of local and foreign tourists, particularly Algerians. The same goes for the border crossings of Melloula (Tabarka delegation), Babouch (Ain Draham delegation), and Jelil (Ghardimaou delegation). Hotel reservations peaked on New Year’s Eve.

The Ministry of Tourism is committed to improving Tunisia’s brand image among tourists, diversifying the tourist offer, and promoting the quality of services. It is in this context that many promotional campaigns have been launched in several countries, particularly in Algeria, whose market remains very loyal to the Tunisian destination.

These promotional campaigns focused on the launch of a series of measures, including the implementation of several systems aimed at improving the reception of Algerian tourists traveling to Tunisia by (air and land).
