Oil and gas: Attar reveals Algeria’s reserves

energy minister abdelmadjid attar on Friday morning unveiled the state of algeria’s hydrocarbon reserves, while discussing the operating methods in force.

speaking on the onles of channel 3 of the national radio, the minister underlined the constant consumption of gas and oil in recent years. he indicated that algeria had consumed 50% of gas and oil reserves.

According to the head of the energy sector, the remaining energy reserves are sufficient to ensure the energy security of countries until 2040. That said, mr. attar believes it is time to review existing operating methods.
