Nawel Tounsi succumbs to coronavirus: Tunisian female entrepreneurship family in mourning

โ€œThe Tunisian female entrepreneurship family is in mourning today, Nawel Tounsi Belhaj, coordinator of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Tunis office has just been swept away by COVID-19โ€, deplores Leila Belkhiria Jaber, President of the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs.

In a post published this Thursday, November 26, 2020, Leila Belkhiria Jaber who expressed her deep sorrow following the death of Nawel Tounsi, described her as โ€œan exceptional woman, devoted, competent, elegant and with unparalleled human qualities: kindness, modesty and generosityโ€

Nawel Tounsi, who was currently in charge of the Canadian program OIT AFERE (Women entrepreneurship in rural areas), was coordinator of the OIT project, and also Project Manager at ETOFE.

โ€œThe CNFCE with the tied throat extend their sincere condolences to all her work colleagues, family, husband, and little girl. My pain is very great in the face of this great loss for us women business leaders and for the country. Rest in peace dear Nawel, your memory will remain forever in our memories, we will finish your mission.โ€ adds Mrs. Belkhiria Jaber.

Many organizations and companies, as well as the Ministry of Women, Family and Seniors and Utica have deplored the departure of Nawel Tounsi Belhaj: โ€œa person of great human qualities, dynamic, professional, patriot.
