Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, met his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad of the Kingdom of Morocco, in order to discuss the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, including in the fight against irregular immigration, and regional and international issues.
The Minister met on this occasion the Moroccan Minister of Habous and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Toufiq.
The minister then went to the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, where he signed a support agreement from the French Development Agency to the Moroccan Federation of Museums.
Finally, Jean-Yves Le Drian visited the Lycée Descartes where an exchange was organized, by videoconference, with all the principals of the 44 French schools in Morocco which, with 44,000 students, form the second-largest French educational network in the world.
