In this context, a bank of industrial projects has been set up, allowing the broadening of the base of industrial activities in the different regions of the Kingdom, through the monitoring of project leaders and the encouragement to invest in all areas. industrial.
To do this, Mezzour indicates that a working group in charge of achieving industrial sovereignty has been formed around the strengthening of national sovereignty and the encouragement of the “Made in Morocco” strategy.
A total of 918 projects have been approved with 90% of the national capital, representing the possibility of replacing imports with 51.3 billion dirhams, which will make it possible to offset imports representing 157% of the target set at 34 billion dirhams, he said, adding that this plan provides for the creation of 196,767 jobs, including about 78,707 direct jobs, and the achievement of about 69% of industrial sovereignty.
