Morocco is preparing to re-authorize international flights from its main airports. It will be the same for maritime links. The date is set for June 15 and Moroccan nationals, as well as foreigners with a negative PCR test or vaccinated, will be entitled to come.
The Moroccan Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the Kingdom of Morocco will reopen its airports and ports for international travel as of June 15. The measure was decided upon as the covid epidemic now appears to be under control. Morocco has also vaccinated nearly ten million of its nationals.
The Moroccan community living abroad will therefore be able to return to the country just like all foreign travelers. The only conditions: to have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or to present a negative screening test for the coronavirus. The opening of the country is only possible to foreign nationals appearing on a list A of the ministry. This notably includes France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
Transavia is back in force
However, people who have been vaccinated for four weeks and/or have a PCR test are not considered valid on entry into the Shereefian kingdom. This must be valid for less than 48 hours. The ministry indicates that all international airports are again open to flights from abroad. For maritime transport, only lines departing from the ports of Sète and Genoa are authorized.
From France, the airlines Air France, Royal Air Maroc, Easyjet, Air Arabia Maroc, Volotea, Ryanair and Transavia. The latter has just confirmed the resumption of its flights from June 15 from five French airports.
From Paris-Orly , Transavia will land in Agadir, Casablanca, Marrakech, Oujda, Rabat and Tangier. From Lyon , it will serve Agadir, Marrakech and Oujda; from Montpellier it will go to Marrakech and from Nantes to Agadir, Casablanca and Marrakech. Finally, Transavia will also offer a flight between Bastia and Fez.
