The MUR denounces the “haste of members of the government and media, cultural and sporting actors to establish contacts with their Israeli counterparts” after the signing of the Joint Declaration between Morocco, the United States and Israel on December 22. In a statement, the movement protested against “restrictions and prohibitions” of actions by opponents of normalization.
This decision joins the announcement made by the movement on December 12, calling on the “Moroccan people and all active forces in society to come together and unite their efforts in order to face the threat of Zionist infiltration and oppose any form of normalization ”.
