Morocco granted $138.6m for drinking water

Morocco will be receiving $138.6 million from both the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Chinese Africa Growing Together Fund (AGTF).

The loans are being granted to Morocco in support of its efforts to enhance the supply of its drinking water. Abderrahim El Hafidi, Director General of Moroccoโ€™s National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), penned the loan pacts in Rabat with AfDB representative in Morocco, Leila Mokadem.
