A man actively wanted in Nador and Al Hoceima was finally arrested by elements of the BNPJ and the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance. He is said to be a member of a criminal network active in the international trafficking of drugs and psychotropic drugs.
The individual was arrested in Nador. In a press release, the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) said that the research also allowed the arrest of a police commissioner working in the territorial surveillance services in the same city. He is suspected of complicity with the main suspect in this case.
In addition to the arrest of this man, the security forces also seized eight mobile phones, which are currently the subject of technical expertise required by the national laboratory for the analysis of digital traces. The police also found at the suspect’s home a large sum of money and five capsules containing suspicious products which were sent to the forensic and technical laboratory.
The respondent and the police commissioner arrested were placed in police custody at the disposal of the open investigation in order to determine the ins and outs of this case and identify any accomplices in these criminal acts, specifies the DGSN.
