“Maroc Digital 2030”: Three Agreements to Create 130,000 Jobs and Encourage Research

On the sidelines of the launch of the national strategy “Maroc Digital 2030”, the Minister Delegate for Digital Transition, Ghita Mezzour, signed three partnership agreements. These agreements involve ministries, public institutions, and digital players, and aim to achieve the objectives of the national strategy.

The first agreement, signed with several partners, concerns a program contract for the development of outsourcing services, with a target of creating 130,000 jobs by 2030. The second agreement concluded with the Ministry of Higher Education, supports a scholarship program for doctoral students, funded to the tune of 7,000 dirhams per month over three years, to stimulate research in advanced technologies.

The third partnership, signed with the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, aims to promote professional training in the digital field and to strengthen Morocco’s attractiveness as a technology hub. These initiatives illustrate Morocco’s commitment to strengthening its digital ecosystem as part of its digital transformation.
