The Samsung Galaxy S8โs launch is getting closer by the day, and a new image has just surfaced. This time around we get to look at what seems to be a real life image of the Galaxy S8, and it actually goes hand-in-hand with some other leaks that weโve seen recently. If you take a look at the provided image, youโll get to see how thin bezels are on this smartphone, and youโll also notice that there the physical home key is nowhere to be found.
This image also shows off the on-screen button on the Galaxy S8, well, an on-screen button, that is. You get to see the back button in this image, and also the on-screen buttons strip on the bottom of the display, where we presume three on-screen buttons will be located most of the time, overview, home and multitasking, respectively, in Samsungโs case at the very least, on most other smartphones itโs the other way around. This image also shows off rounded corners of the display on the Galaxy S8, which is also something weโve seen in previously leaked images. This image also reveals that the Galaxy S8 will sport quite a few sensors above its display, most of which are quite noticeable here. The power / lock key is also noticeable here, youโll be able to see it if you take a look at the right-hand side of the Galaxy S8, the image is not exactly the clearest, but that physical key is quite noticeable nonetheless.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to launch on March 29th, and it will probably ship sometime in April. Samsung will announce two different variants of the device, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Both of these smartphones will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 SoC in some regions, while in other regions theyโll probably ship with Samsungโs very own Exynos 9810 processor. Both devices will come with QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Samsungโs custom UI on top of it. A fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package, though it will be placed on the back of the Galaxy S8 devices this time around, chances are it will lie next to the rear-facing camera. Samsung will announce Galaxy S8โs exact launch date during this yearโs MWC 2017, so stay tuned.
