Football: Zimbabwe Answers Algeria about playing both game…

Algeria – As Zimbabwe has indicated financial worries, Algeria has offered to host the second leg, scheduled for this month. A proposal that does not seem to please the Zimbabwe Football Federation (ZIFA).

Indeed, according to the specialized site Soccer24 ZW, Algeria would have proposed to Zimbabwe to play the match scheduled for November 12 and even that of November 16 counting for the 3rd and 4th days (Gr.H) of the qualifications of the Coupe d ‘ Africa of Nations (CAN-2021) on its soil, at the Olympic football stadium, baptized July 5, located in Algiers.

This very generous proposal was, however, brushed aside by the president of the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA). Not because the idea was not a good one, but because Zimbabwe is currently “in a festive mood”, he said. The manager therefore did not let go of the prey for the shade. His country recently lifted the ban on the national sports stadium. Something that changed all of the Warriors’ plans.

According to the Algeria 360 news site, the ZIFA president in his statement thanked his government for what he has done for the team. With these new data, Zimbabwe could finally “welcome Algeria” on its ground, revealed the same speaker. According to him, the Algerian Football Association has also offered to pay all travel and other expenses of the Zimbabwe team. This offer also suffered the same fate as the first.

Zimbabwe in return proposes:
After having ensured the shadow and the prey, Zimbabwe proposed to its Algerian counterpart to come and play the two (02) matches on Zimbabwean land. Exactly at the Harare National Sports Stadium. That’s not all. According to him, ZIFA has also offered to pay the cost of accommodation.

The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) in turn turned down the Zimbabwe Federation’s offer to no avail. Returning the same blow to the Zimbabwean camp. Thus, the matter is resolved and comes to an end. Neither country will pay for the other for these two games. It remains to be seen how the two teams, Algeria and Zimbabwe, plan to salivate their fans in the double encounter.

For this, the appointment is given. Algeria looks forward to welcoming the Warriors on November 12th on Algerian soil, more precisely at the July 05 stadium. As for the Zimbabwean team, the latter, for their part, intend to open their stadium, already closed, for the Greens in the second meeting scheduled for November 16.
