The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received, at the headquarters of the ministry, the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Algeria.
According to a ministry statement posted on its Facebook page, the talks focused on examining opportunities and possibilities for investment and partnership between the two countries in the fields of energy, particularly in the field of exploration. and exploitation of hydrocarbons, development, and petrochemicals, as well as in the field of production, maintenance, and transmission of electricity.
In this context, it was agreed, according to the same source, that a delegation from the energy and mining sector would go to Côte d’Ivoire, made up of representatives from Sonatrach, Sonelgaz, and Naftal.
The two parties also discussed other aspects of cooperation related to the exchange of experiences and training, as well as cooperation and partnership between the two countries in the mining field in Algeria.
