Following the earthquake in Turkey which left more than a thousand dead, the Moroccan embassy in Ankara is asking Moroccans who call for news of their relatives to provide more information about them.
In the early hours of the earthquake which plunged Turkey into mourning with 1,541 dead and more than 9,500 injured, the Moroccan embassy in Ankara set up the following telephone numbers: 00 903 124 376 020 and 00 903 124 376 021, and reminds those who call via these numbers to give information that can help guide them.
Thus she asks to be provided by e-mail or via the WhatsApp application the name and telephone number of the caller, the name of the person sought, his telephone number, and the city in which he resides, as well as a copy of the national card and the passport of the person concerned, if available.
In a press release, the diplomatic representation specifies that the cities affected by earthquakes are Kahramanmaraş, Adana, Adiyaman, Hatay, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Kilis, and Osmaniye. In addition to the two fixed numbers, the embassy says it can be reached via mobile phone and Whatsapp on the following numbers: 00 905 346 871 318, 00 905 550 372 743, 00 905 349 205 305.
