Morocco offers one of the best prices for mobile Internet access in Africa. It is ranked 10ᵉ on the continent in terms of mobile internet cost, according to a report from Cable.co.uk.
The cost of mobile internet in Africa is one of the lowest, a Cable.co.uk report said. With an average price of a gigabyte of mobile data valued at 0.88 dollars, Morocco is ranked 10ᵉ, ahead of Tunisia which occupies 14th place with 1.09 dollars. Algeria takes first place in this ranking with an average price of $ 0.51, ahead of Somalia ($ 0.6 per gigabyte), Ghana ($ 0.66), or Libya ($ 0.74).
Globally, Morocco is 45ᵉ out of 230 countries assessed, far ahead of Tunisia ranked 59ᵉ and behind Algeria which occupies 16ᵉ place. With an average price of a gigabyte of data valued at $ 0.05, Israel ranks first in the world rankings. Equatorial Guinea, for its part, brings up the rear with an average cost estimated at 49.67 dollars.
