Condor, one of the main Algerian manufacturers of household appliances and electronics, announced on Thursday the conclusion of a new partnership with Candy, an Italian brand renowned in the sector.
“Condor has concluded a New Partnership Agreement with the Italian brand Candy, as an industrial partner, manufacturer, and producer of household and electronic appliances in Algeria,” indicates the Algerian group.
“This partnership represents for Condor a major step in achieving its objectives of development, expansion, growth, and opening, by creating a truly strong industry, with very appreciable technology transfer and integration rates, all by boosting the national market and moving towards regional markets,” explains the same source.
“This collaboration will also allow us to diversify our product range with devices that meet international standards, with local production,” concludes Condor.
Note that the Italian Candy (with the Hoover and Rosières brands) was bought by the Chinese household appliance giant Haier in 2018. The Candy household appliance brand manufactures large household appliances, such as washing machines, dryers laundry, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, and ovens.
