French shipping company CMA CGM is launching a new direct service between Morocco and Russia expected to improve conditions for the delivery of fruits and vegetables.
The enhanced weekly AGAX service will be able to deliver Moroccan produces to Russia in only eight days without any stopover.
The service, which is provided by CMA CGM and its subsidiaries OPDR and Comanav, will provide the fastest transit times on the market by linking Agadir, Morocco, and Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The company will start operating the new service in partnership with SEAGO onย March 16, with three 868 teu vessels calling Casablanca, Agadir, Saint Petersburg, Hamburg and Rotterdam.
In addition to its new service, CMA CGM also operates two other weekly lines on the Morocco-Northern Europe/Russia trade, namely DUNKRUS and CISS.
The French shipping company is also changing its DUNKRUS line to include a call in Rouen, France, which was previously served by the AGAX line.
