ANNABA-Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abdelmalek Boudiaf highlighted the importance of the digitization of health activities management to meet the strategic aspirations for rehabilitation and recovery of the sector to improve services and healthcare to patients.
The minister, who chaired a regional assessment of 16 provinces in the East and the South-east, stated that the adoption of a modern management system and new technologies are part of an integrated vision aiming at promoting the national health system.
In this regard, Boudiaf called managers and executives of the sector to comply with the new health code, whose preparation is underway, as it places patients at the heart of the health system.
He also advocated in-home care and hospitalization services, the transfer of certain specialized consultations to polyclinics and the exploitation of human resources through health facilities.
