Bengrina Attacks the Emirates: Unofficial Warning From Algiers to Ben Zayed?

By Houari A. โ€“  Abdelkader Bengrina violently attacked the United Arab Emirates on the sidelines of the conference for the strengthening of the internal front against external threats, organized this Saturday at the Club des Pins, in Algiers. The presidential candidate of December 2019 did not mention this country by name but he made a direct allusion to it, speaking of an โ€œArab countryโ€ which acts on behalf of Israel. โ€œI have to be clear. I will say it now and it will be the last time I will speak on this subject. There is a functional entity, alas Arab, where it goes it causes desolationโ€, he hammered.

“This entity went to Morocco and turned it against Algeria although these two countries are linked by a long history, it tried in Mali and Niger, it caused a loss of control of the situation in Libya”, added the boss of the Al-Bina party, adding: “I have already mentioned the cursed visits of certain officials of this entity to Tunisia, in any Arab country where these officials go, they encourage normalization with the Zionist entity, and where the Zionist entity settles, it represents a threat of dislocation of the Arab nationโ€.

โ€œI am certain that his goal [le rรฉgime d’Abu Dhabi, ndlr] in Tunisia was to obtain normalization [avec Israรซl, ndlr] but that will never happen as long as President Kaรฏs Saรฏed is at the head of this country. brother because he made his position known during the election campaign, calling normalization a betrayal and when he said that, the Tunisian people elected him President of the Republic”, Abdelkader Bengrina further affirmed, considering that “s ‘they [the Emiratis, editor’s note] fail to make the Tunisian state bend, they will not hesitate to create political sectarianism in Tunisia to destroy the social fabric, disintegrate the home front, while working to put in place another type of artistic, cultural, media or other standardization, by buying people’s consciences as they have done elsewhere”.

“That is why I said that Algeria must be vigilant in order to be at the side of the Tunisian president and support him in his constant position which consists in preventing this entity from infiltrating the Tunisian ranks and cause discord among Tunisians, as it did in Libya, Yemen, Syria and several other countries”, he insisted, stressing that “Tunisia’s security affects the stability of the region, so that there are not two peoples in the world whose security is intimately linked like those of Algeria and Tunisia.

This is the first time that an Algerian politician has launched a harsh criticism of a foreign state, which is moreover Arab, and in the context of a meeting sponsored by the President of the Republic and dealing with external threats. that weigh on the country. This frontal attack comes a few weeks after the revelations of El-Khabar  according to which the leaders of the United Arab Emirates have committed a series of hostile acts against Algeria which they are working to destabilize on behalf of Morocco.

Emirati officials have provided the Makhzen with a sophisticated spy system, according to the Arabic-language daily, which must have this information from secure sources. Presumably made by Israel, this equipment is aimed directly at Algeria. The newspaper adds that Abu Dhabi is blackmailing the Tunisian president into severing relations with its western neighbor and exerting pressure on Mauritania to rally the cohort of normalizers and establish relations with the Zionist entity. . Finally, believes  El-Khabar , the Emirati services attempted to introduce huge quantities of psychotropic drugs into Algeria through the Libyan land border.

In January 2022, an airlift between the United Arab Emirates and Morocco, involving a dozen large military aircraft of the Boeing C-17A Globemaster III type, was revealed by an Israeli specialized site. Nothing has filtered through on this operation, which to date has raised serious concerns as it would be a question of armaments, in particular drones. Are these Israeli-made devices made in the Emirates? Possible, indicated many sources who excluded that it was a question, as certain media had reported, of cohorts of emirs and their equipment accustomed to hunting in the remote regions of Morocco.

No official source has communicated on these suspicious movements which intervened in an extremely tense context between Algeria and Morocco. There is no longer any question of diplomatic estrangement, but downright threats to Algeria’s security after the expansionist regime in Rabat signed a series of military agreements with Israel, relating, among other things, to the establishment of two drone assembly factories in the east and south of the kingdom, close to the border with Algeria and the liberated Saharawi territories.
