Montreal – We have just learned from reliable sources that Algerians from Canada can enter Algeria by stopping over in Europe and more particularly in France. In fact, the Algerian company Air Algérie has scheduled a number of flights to Algiers, departing from the Parisian airport Charles de Gaulle. Departures from Paris will run from January 22 until January 31 inclusive.
People already registered on the repatriation lists can check their registrations on the site put online by Air Algérie: https://rapt.airalgerie.dz/index. If their names appear on this link, they can then contact the Air Algeria Call Center to purchase their Paris-Algiers plane tickets. Travelers must purchase their own plane tickets from Canada to Charles de Gaulle airport where they will stop over to join the Air Algeria repatriation flight (Paris-Algiers flight AH1001 which takes off every day from Paris to 2:45 p.m. from January 22 to 31).
The 150,000 Algerians living in Canada can reach Parisian Charles de Gaulle airport from the Canadian airports of Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver served by several airlines. Note also that the people concerned can also check their registration by writing to Air Algérie: [email protected]
Recalling that the company Air Algeria recently canceled Montreal-Algiers repatriation flights which were scheduled for January 17, 24 and 31, 2021. We do not know, moreover, whether flights will be re-established soon between Algeria and Canada. This is the wish of many Algerians living in North America.
Note that it is mandatory to have a PRINTED CERTIFICATE OF THE NEGATIVE PCR TEST carried out in the 72 hours preceding the Paris-Algiers repatriation trip (AH 1001).
