Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has set early parliamentary elections for June 12, the Algerian presidency announced in a statement released Thursday.

In mid-February, Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced the dissolution of Parliament and the holding of early elections, without specifying their date.
