Algeria: Extraction of 100 tonnes of raw gold by micro-enterprises

The MANAL, specializing in research, exploration, development, and exploitation of the mining sector, received six loads of raw gold estimated at more than one hundred (100) tons, this Thursday.

Is our country a new El Dorado for precious metals seekers? In any case, this is what the last mining extraction of the MANAL industrial group suggests. Manadjim El Djazair has managed to extract more than one hundred (100) tons of raw gold from the bowels of the earth in Algeria, with an average of eleven (11) grams per ton. This is in fact what its chairman and the chief executive officer said on Thursday.

He spoke on the program, a joint show between the Algerie now news site and the Beur TV channel, “Economic Forum” in this case. Mohamed Sakher Harami then indicated that Algeria is currently in the process of reconnecting with its past in the search for the noble metal. “These shipments will allow us to extract some 1.3 kilograms of gold.”

This is also a statement made by the CEO of the mining group. He also said that the new extractions have been collected by several mining and gold micro-enterprises, which have been granted exploration permits for the very precious natural resource in recent years.

Mining 100 tonnes of gold: The work of 45 companies out of a total of 200

Group CEO Manadjim El Djazair said forty-five firms out of a total of two hundred managed to collect this incredible amount of raw gold. It should be noted that the MANAL mining entity provides counters for the reception of the precious yellow metal and the preliminary technical operations. Likewise, it guarantees part of the charges to micro-enterprises.

“Our group has created agencies for the reception and analysis of raw gold at sites close to the mines.” This is what Harami added. Two counters, underlining the speaker, have so far been designed in the Wilaya of Tamanrasset. One is right in the city center and the other is near the Amesmessa mine.

The mining industry group also succeeded in creating two more in Djanet for visual inspection and calculation of the gold percentage. “This will allow us to grant the required amounts to the companies concerned,” explains the same speaker. In the same section, Mohamed Sakher Harami said that around forty-five jobs have been created by MANAL’s SMEs.

This is for the benefit of unemployed young people in the region who have benefited from specialized training. “The success of this project and its implementation on the ground has given the sector more confidence to move towards new regions which contain gold wealth”. This is what the manager assured. He explained, in short, that his company is currently establishing commercial contracts with several companies in order to achieve more profits.
