As part of its strategy to strengthen international economic partnerships, Algeria recently launched an investment promotion mission in Spain. Leading this effort, Omar Rekkas, Director General of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI), headed a delegation that included representatives from the European Union in Algeria and experts from the consulting firm GINGER SOFRECO. The goal? To win over Spanish investors and showcase the opportunities available in the Algerian market.

It reflects Algeriaโs determination to attract foreign capital and diversify its economy through strategic partnerships.
On February 26, 2025, in Valencia, Omar Rekkas met with the presidents of the chambers of commerce and industry of Valencia, Castellรณn, and Alicante.
