The inauguration took place in the Bab Ezzouar business district, on Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Mohamed Habib Zahana, the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, as well as the heads and representatives of the various state organs and constitutional and consultative bodies.
Named after the late mujahid, Saïd Ait Messaoudene (1933-2009), one of the first Algerian pilots, third general manager of Air Algérie and the architect of the nationalization of the national airline in 1972, this new headquarters is an architectural masterpiece that reflects the importance of the company and its future prospects.
This new headquarters, which occupies an area of 11,197 square meters, and consists of two parts of seven and nine floors respectively, and is completed according to international standards, will play a major role in modernizing the company’s services, popularizing digitalization and improving the quality of services.
It is also characterized by the use of high technologies in its construction and design, and benefits from most of the facilities that will give a distinctive and modern atmosphere to the company’s work, including meeting rooms, conferences, a dining room and other modern features and equipment that will play an important role in improving the performance of Air Algérie, in addition to its strategic location in the Bab Ezzouar business district.
During the opening ceremony, all the Chief Executive Officers ( CEOs ) who have successively led Air Algérie since the establishment of sovereignty were honored.
