There are countless grievances and exasperated testimonies with regard to the Air Algérie company and its way of managing its customers, in particular via its Parisian sales agency located on avenue de l’Opéra.
Between the endless queues, the fights on the spot… The controversial videos are commonplace and the dissatisfaction is growing.
After the partial reopening of the Algerian borders and the disorder caused by the health crisis, it is still very difficult today to organize a trip and travelers must also deal with the incompetence of professionals in the sector.
This Saturday, April 2 at the beginning of the afternoon, it was not an ordinary customer who expressed his disappointment but the President of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Emigration at APN (National People’s Assembly).
Currently, on the move in France, Mohamed Hani, who is also a deputy for the constituency of Béjaïa, traveled to the agency of the airline located in the Opéra district in Paris. He posted videos on his Facebook page showing his annoyance at the closed agency: “Saha ramdankoum, 1st day and we are on the ground! In front of Air Algérie in Paris! Unacceptable!“, he wrote in the caption of the publication.
Air Algérie: videos that arouse reactions
Mohamed Hani echoes the fed up of Algerians in France who wish to join their loved ones in the bled, during this important period such as Ramadan: “the community needs to return to the country, the only day when they can move it’s closed ! “, he declares while filming the storefront of the agency with closed doors and the drawn curtain.
However, some Internet users point out that the agency’s schedules have changed and that it no longer welcomes the public on Saturdays: “you have to find out and look at the poster on the door! the agency closes on Saturdays so since September 2021 the hours have changed”. It is true that the Paris Opéra agency announced a few months ago that it would no longer welcome the public on Saturdays but from Monday to Friday only.
Apart from a few rare understanding comments, the others want to be very virulent against Air Algérie: we can read in particular “Thank you for this observation, to point out that even their telephones are unanswered… More than 50 calls without follow-up”.
Once again, Air Algérie is showing itself in the wrong way to its customers who are at the end of their patience and solutions.
