The security services arrested 5 people between the ages of 28 and 37. These people are accused of forgery and the use of forgery and trafficking of European visas. The dismantling of this network was carried out following the arrest of a person during a routine control operation at the port of Mostaganem. During this check, the police discovered in a passenger, who was about to embark for Valencia in Spain, a dubious visa. After verification by the scanner, the PAF police officers confirmed that the passenger’s visa is fake.
There begins the interrogation following which the passenger admitted that his visa had been tampered with. He also admits that he had bought it from a third party at the price of 100 million centimes. This information given by the passenger led to the opening of an investigation. Indeed, after seizing the public prosecutor at the Mostaganem court, the legal proceedings were launched and the investigation began. It was conducted by the security services in collaboration with the prosecution of the court of Oued Rhiou, under the wilaya of Relizane.
This investigation led the security services on the trail of two individuals in whom false visas were discovered. The police conducted a search of the home of the first suspect. In this house, five passports, with false visas belonging to different people, were seized. The police also found in the suspect a sum of money in euros, a bottle of hydrogen peroxide with a circular seal and other documents (birth certificates and photocopies). In addition, the police found false visas in the second suspect. The two accused were arrested. They confessed during interrogation. These confessions enabled the security services to apprehend 3 other accomplices in this traffic.
