Tunisia and the Investment Facility for Employment (IFE) โ an investment mechanism created by the German Development Bank (KfW) โ signed, on Thursday, July 11, a financing agreement worth 50 million euros for three Tunisian projects likely to promote the creation of 1,480 jobs in Tunisia.
A first donation, worth 24.5 million euros, will go to the Autoliv factory and should allow the creation of 696 jobs. The second, worth 20.85 million euros, is intended for the company Ylysse Logistics Company Plc for the creation of four depots and 387 jobs. The third donation, worth 3.32 million euros, is granted to the Maintenance and Management Group (GMG) to finance a project to restructure the water and lighting systems in Sfax, which could generate nearly 400 jobs, announces Mosaรฏque FM.
It should be noted that the Investment Facility for Employment mechanism offers a series of investment offers for German, European, and African companies working on encouraging job creation in Africa, the ultimate goal of which is the creation of 100,000 decent jobs in eight African partner countries, including Tunisia.
