A German delegation, led by Mrs. Groth and Mrs. Schuldt, recently visited Tunisian and European companies in the automotive sector.
In this context, exchanges took place with the Tunisian Automotive Association (TAA), which allowed the delegation to have an overview of the training offered to the middle management of companies (“Senior Executive” training course). These trainings are provided by the Tunisian Automotive Management Academy (TAMA) which is attached to the TAA. The Director of TAMA, Mrs. Mejri, presented the objectives, vision, and mission of TAMA.
GFA Consulting Group, the implementation partner of the project “Partnerships for employment and support for medium-sized enterprises”, was also present through Ms. El Moaz. The latter presented to the German delegation the capacity-building measures for national and European companies established in Tunisia, particularly in the automotive and aeronautical sectors, with regard to the improvement of working conditions.
Other exchanges took place with several companies and project partners such as Bako Motors, and a visit to the Info Point of the Tunisian-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Tunisia) was also organized.
The visit of this German delegation is part of the project “Partnerships for employment and support for medium-sized enterprises” which is part of the special initiative “Training and employment”, mandated by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ Tunisia in close collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy. This project aims to support sustainable and job-creating growth for national and European companies established in Tunisia.
