For three days, discussions will take place with several Algerian institutions and economic actors, starting with the Ministry of Industry, the AAPI (Algerian Agency for the Promotion of Investment) and the CREA (Algerian Economic Renewal Council), Sonatrach, Sonelgaz, Alnaft, and Madar Holding, among others.
This is what Mr. Smail Chikhoune, president of the Algerian-American Business Council, declared this Sunday during his appearance on the show The guest of the editorial staff of channel III of Algerian Radio.
Given the geopolitical context currently prevailing and dominated by the war against the Palestinian people, Mr. Chikhoune did not fail to clarify that in their approach, American business councils throughout the world do not burden themselves with political questions and limit themselves to strict economic affairs.
Needless to say, the said delegation is essentially made up of players in the energy sector, but not only since they are also talking about construction projects in the field of public works such as the railway and public works. of art.
Referring to the recent statement by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, urging American partners to come and invest in the mining sector, the Radio Guest made a point of emphasizing the Algerian demand for the transfer of know-how through training.
“The American side can only be interested in the mining sector, but on our side, we demand to integrate training and also to produce certain parts necessary for drilling and other services in exploration (…) This would be of interest given that the ‘Algeria can be a portal to Africa and the Middle East via the different free trade zones,’ he said.
