Cycling: Morocco’s Haddi Wins Abidjan International Grand Prix

Moroccan cyclist Haddi Soufiane on Sunday won the International Grand Prix of Abidjan, which took place on a road circuit of more than 79 km.

Haddi triumphed with a time of 01h 47min 43 sec, ahead of fellows Mouhcine El Kouraji (01h 47 min 50 sec) and Chokri El Mehdi (01h 48 min 00 sec).

The Moroccan cycling team on Friday won the 23rd Cycling Tour of Côte d’Ivoire following the final 96.9km stage between Daloa and Bouafle.

The Moroccan team dominated the seven stages of the event (688.7 km) with a time of 50h 16 min 17 sec, followed by Côte d’Ivoire (50h 42 min 00 sec) and Rwanda (50h 47 min 56 sec).
